TALK - the Ancestral Library of Knowledge - archives the wisdom of the Mamas and Sagas of the Kogi, Arhuaco, Wiwa and Kankuamo tribes from the Sierra Nevada for future generations.
Mission
Our mission is to preserve the ancient cultural wisdom of the Teiuna and amplify the voice of the Elder Brothers to relay their vital message around the globe through several transmedia projects.
Vision
We envision a healthy and balanced Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta ecological region organized as a harmonious dynamic system which includes protecting its diverse ecosystems and their inhabitants and establishing an interconnected trade between peoples and bioregions.
Action
TALK consists of four different phases to fulfill its mission:

The production of the film “Seed of Mama Sé”, which archives the wisdom of one of the oldest wisdom keepers of the Sierra Nevada and the great-grandfather of TALK.

The co-creation of a School of Ancestral Wisdom with different Mamas and Sagas of the Sierra, transmitting knowledge through different resources, such as short films, books and podcasts.

The construction of different temple schools to train the future generations of wisdom keepers.

The transmedia campaign “Páramos 3”, which expresses the urgency of melting glaciers in the Sierra Nevada and how an ecosystem collapse and the destruction of sacred sites can cause detrimental harm on the entire planet.
